Ancho

Heart-shaped peppers are long with a mild heat & sweet taste. In its fresh form (called "poblano") it is a very dark, glossy green and is used roasted and stuffed for rellenos. When dried (called ancho) it is used to make chilli powder and "mole" sauce.

SPICY HOT! This pepper is the hottest. The little lime-green peppers ripen to red.  

A Yucatan favourite used raw or cooked. Has been know to bring men to tears.

Hungarian Yellow Hot Wax

Spicy HOT! This bright yellow medium hot pepper with full flavour. Fruit is smooth, waxy and taper to a point. Very good for canning or roasted and stuffed with cheese.

Purple Beauty

The best purple sweet pepper. The colour goes from green to purple to deep red. Makes great stuffed peppers with it sweet taste and large uniform size. Serve on a white plate to bring out the colour

Butter yellow zucchinis. Picked as babies are great in salad or addictive sautéed in butter with garlic and onion put some cream in oh my. Add creamed goat cheese and oh my my!!!.

Rainbow chard, also known a 5-colour silver beet, is a tender chard variety with multicoloured stalks of yellow, white, orange pink and red. Its matching coloured veins extend upward and out into its green fan-shaped leaves. Rainbow chard has an assertive texture and its flavour is earthy and mildly salty and sweet.

Purplette Scallion
A delightful purple skinned specialty onion! Picked small, the tiny purple bulbs turn a delicate pink when cooked or pickled. They can be pulled as purple bunching onions or left to mature at golf ball size.

Scallion
A standard green onion for summer and fall with dark-green leaves and tall, straight, single-stalk stem. Wonderful in salad add a nice flavour to stir fry’s.



Redwing Onion
The ultimate in a red-skinned onion, produces globe-shaped bulbs 7-10cm (3-4") across, with unique deep-red, glossy skins and strong tops. Red onions are milder than yellow ones.

Arugula

Has leaves that are less lobed and more strap-like, with a mild flavour. Is perfect for baby greens in early spring and fall . Baby greens give salad a little extra flavour.
